Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on multi-disciplinary teams performing research, design, and development for complex and high consequence systems
  • Design decision-support algorithms, including multiple data inputs, processing behaviors, and data outputs
  • Derive system/software functionality from graphical user interface mock-ups and accompanying descriptions provided by human factors engineers
  • Specify system/software functionality using formal, semi-formal and natural languages as needed for software development and testing by external engineering teams

Most of PSE’s project work is conducted by small interdisciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and designers. The particular size and mix depends on the objectives of the project and the client’s needs.
